Michael Moffatt
2/8/1944  – 11/26/2011

Michael passed in peace about half past five on a balmy Saturday afternoon during a "sailor's delight" sunset.  Prayers are ongoing until his service in Washington, D.C.  Thank you to all who have supported Michael and all of us with your prayers, compassion, stories and kindness.

Sunset, Chapel Hill, North Carolina November 26, 2011.

Inveterate anthropologist, Michael wanted a full body burial
"so paleontologists will have something to find one day."
As per his wishes, he was interred at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.

  8. Dear Pam,
It is an honor for us to have known Michael. He truly walked the path of a loving father, teacher and husband. His presence at the Shehaqua Family Camp touched us deeply. May he continue his peaceful and loving journey after his Sung Hwa. Christoph, Karen, Kester and Teo
